Rare species of animals in one of Kenya’s best Game Reserves
The Samburu Reserve is located in a place of parched vegetation. The Reserve contains several species that are very rare, like the long necked gerenuk, Beisa Oryx, Somali ostrich and Grevy’s zebra. Besides abundant animals found in the Samburu Game Reserve, the park is also a bird haven.
Kenya Game Park between the empty and wild side of Kenya!
Owing to its remote distance and inaccessibility, for many years the park has continued to retain a naturally serene and quiet feeling. The park stretches towards the Chalbi desert allowing guests to experience both the empty and wild side of Kenya. Nevertheless there is still a lot of great game viewing to be had.
See the great Ewaso N’giro on one of the best Kenya Safari and holiday!
Running through Samburu, the Ewaso N’giro River is known for its permanent ribbon of green, with tamarinds, doum palms and acacia provide respite from the sweltering sun. Lion, leopard and cheetah are never far away, while in the air, martial eagles, bateleurs and pygmy falcons patrol the skies.
